See ya there!
Here's a peek at a new family I got to photograph this year. These little ones were so much fun, but they made me W-O-R-K! So glad we got some really cute images of them both!
It seems I've already failed in my resolution to update the blog with some fun fall portraits, but today, I am back on! I really have so many beautiful families to blog I can NOT let this go! Here's one of my favorite families that I photograph every year. I love getting to really know my families by seeing them often and completely value the trust they put in to me each year when choosing their photographer. I am so thankful B family! Now for the test, I need to update the blog with a real image from their home of the gorgeous new canvas and other wall portraits they did. I'm sure they look amazing!
Read more...Whew, that was crazy....the Fall season I mean. Now that I can breathe, I need to catch up on a little blogging...or actually a ton of blogging. Love these kids! They are always the cutest dressed kids and like little models!
Love this mommy/daughter session!! Wish that more people, me included, scheduled more sessions like this to capture such precious moments!
Here's another long-time friend from Waco that I got to see in Austin for a bit! Love these little reunions! :)
What is it with the string of beautiful eyes? I'm loving it!
I have to admit, I'm not as comfortable with older kids. I love shooting them because they are quick and usually easy, but I just feel awkward not doing all my little jokes and playing around. These boys were perfect at just getting it done and doing it well! They obviously love their momma very much!
A few weekends ago I got to get down to Austin for a change and had the opportunity to photograph an old, very dear friend. Well, she's not "old", we're just old friends! Actually she was the very first friend I had when my family moved to TX when I was 8 years old. That makes us friends from just about the same age as her oldest...wow, that's crazy! It is SO strange to me to see your friends kids look more like your memory of them than the present! I see so much of her as a kid in her kids it's just wild. What's also wild is how crazy beautiful their eyes are--JEALOUS! You kids are going to break some hearts one day with those!!!
Enjoy! Thank you for getting us to this great spot L--even though our "plan" didn't go accordingly, I think we got some fantastic shots!
This sweet family is, make that "was" about to welcome their newest little one to the bunch right after our session. I thought I would have these done before he made his debut, but that's the busy season for you! Well, Momma can reminisce just a few short weeks ago when she had just 2 boys to chase after and was still wearing non-maternity jeans...buttoned. Why can't I button my regular jeans at 38 weeks preggo? Not fair, not fair at all.
New "again" mommies get so much attention with the birth of a new baby that I thought I would put the spotlight on an amazing daddy this time. He chased these boys around for a loooong time while I just sat back and watched, and the best part was--it was all natural. Nothing forced, posed, or acted out. Just a daddy who loves these two, now three, little boys so very much! Congratulations guys! Can't wait to meet baby w!
Loved shooting some repeat families and some new ones this year for a special group! This is going to be a long one! ;)
