What an inspiration...

I am so late posting this and I am so sorry Caitlin, but with starting the business there is just so much more to do than just the photography part. I am so overwhelmed and things are chaotic, but I love it! The photography session is definitely the part of it that I love the most--working with people. Sure, I love being able to use my creativity in the digital darkroom, but I am a people person and people are truly the inspiration for my photography.
Here's Caitlin-Caitlin is someone that I have known for a long time, and always knew she was an awesome person, but never knew she had turned into such an amazing young adult. Not only is she a beautiful girl on the outside, she is equally as beautiful on the inside. As a mom, you (i), always hope and pray that you can raise your child with the respect, morals, compassion, and just general "well-roundedness" (you can bet my spellchecker is going to pick this one up!) as this young lady. For example, Caitlin has started a program (on her own, mind you) at her high school where she has gotten a group of students to take special needs students out to dinner/movies/etc. once a month. Apparently she has recruited a large group including the varsity quarterback and mascot of their school, as well as other influential students. Wow!!! I am so impressed not only that she had the guts to start a program such as this, but that she saw a need for fellowship between students and selflessly spends a lot more than one weekend a month to coordinate this for the high school. I remember being a teenager myself and as much as I have always thought of myself as a compassionate person, was never that mature to do something so humanitarian while I was in high school. The reason I know Caitlin is through her mom, and what a proud mom she must be. Lilly, this just also proves what great parents you guys are too. I wish you the best with this Caitlin throughout the rest of your high school days and know that you are going to be successful in "the real world". You are already living in it! I hope that you love your pictures. I had so much fun hanging out with you!
I made her do this silly shot--but it came out so cute! Good work, Caitlin! My favorite, hands down!!! Bear with me on my lack on consistency with the images. I actually wanted these to be bigger because the smaller versions lose some detail and aren't her eyes gorgeous? A detail that MUST be seen larger. Click on the image to see full version! :)

Kelly, these are awesome. You use these textures so nicely. Perfectly done. We were there yesterday, but it was so windy we couldn't shoot. Great job on these!
