Inspired By You...

I decided on a name! I really wanted to come up with a name that reflected my style and reason for wanting to be a photographer and as I was beginning to lose hope that I would just end up with insertnameherephotography.com, it came to me! A couple of choices came to me, actually! Not that there is anything wrong with the previously stated, I just wanted a creative name. My name just didn't have that "ring" to it like other photographers! So with my name choices, I took a survey of my friends. Want to know how that went? My results were split straight down the middle! I am not even joking. Trent and I finally had to throw our opinions in and count our own votes just to decide. Anyway, thanks so much to my friends for your advice! It is so nice to know that every single person I asked cared enough to respond! What great friends!!!

Inspired By You really defines why I wanted to become a photographer. I want my images to SCREAM you!!! Your personality, your life, your one of kind expressions captured. My photo sessions are done on location, at the location of your choice (I will be happy to give some guidance though based on what you have in mind), shot primarily using natural light, and they will be as casual or as formal as you want. I love capturing real-life moments and turning those memories into pieces of art, and that is exactly what I will do. When I have had portraits done of my family, I have always been so emotional when I get them because they document such a special day in my life. My engagement, our marriage, the birth of our daughter, or just a family-day that reminds me how special my family is to me. All have been different, but each session captures exactly who we were at that moment and they make up "me". I want to give that to you, and custom design each session to match your vision! My favorite pictures of my daughter are when she is making that face that is "so her" and her hair is a mess (because it always is-sweet girl!), or she is giving me that "I hate the camera" pout (see below). Those are the moments that to me-are priceless. Of course I love the family pictures and milestones, but everyday moments are special too. I would love to capture yours!
