SCHEDULING A SESSION

I am currently booking sessions for Spring sessions. Spring is always a busy time and weekends fill up very fast. Please contact me soon to get your session booked! I will always make room for newborns as they come on their own little schedules, but would love as much advance notice as possible. Remember that newborn sessions are done within the first 2 weeks.

Another bittersweet day...another babyplanner turns one. It's always so much fun to see the little newborns grow up their first year, but always a reminder of how fast our sweet little ones grow. I'm so glad to do this first year of pictures for families since they do grow and change SO much the first year. What a great reminder of all the big milestones accomplished for one little guy! :)

A look back one year ago...

And now, one super happy, smiley big boy!

Laird is ONE! {Colleyville Child Photographer}

>> Thursday, June 2, 2011

I can't believe it's been a year...well, even over a year since this sweet little ones newborn session. Here's a peek back at him at 6 weeks old...
Then at 3 months old...
Then they took a very, very long vacation from me and the rest of the big city for some rest and relaxation in the mountains so here's a look at one of the very best babies I have ever met at ONE!

Emma's 10 months! {Dallas Child Photographer}

>> Sunday, August 1, 2010

This is probably the cutest age to photograph! Babies at 9-10 months are so giggly and smiley, not so mobile that are all over the place, and there isn't too much that they don't love at this stage! This session has been a long time coming so we were all pretty excited to get Emma out on the golf course, better known as Daddy's 2nd home. :) I hear Daddy is a pretty fantastic golfer so we had considered doing her newborn session out here and it was raining that day, and then figured we would just wait until she was sitting up and could play a little bit on the course. I'm so glad we did because looks like someone has been shopping at the pro shop for her over the past few months! (Check out her golf shoes towards the end...too sweet!)

She had so much fun and was the perfect little baby during our time together. Emma is a babyplanner and I can't believe that she is already 10 months. It is truly amazing how fast the first couple years of a child's life goes by. You blink and you might miss something!

Brennan-6/7month installment {Grapevine Child Photographer}

>> Friday, May 14, 2010

I'm going to make this fast because I'm running out, but I am determined to get something posted everyday or at least every other day until I get caught up. I know these families are starting to wonder if I forgot about them, but I promise I have not! May is turning out to be a duplicate of October with all the fall craziness and even though there aren't Christmas cards to be done, there is still so much work! I'm thankful though...just behind a bit! :)

Here's Brennan--one of my babyplanners who we tried hard to capture at his true 6 month birthday, but the weather and Brennan's sick germs just weren't going to allow for it. We did get one fabulous one at the bottom, but rescheduled the rest for another day. It turned out to be a great decision. We have so many cute expressions and faces it was hard to choose, but here's my faves...

Emma-4 months {Frisco Child Photographer}

>> Sunday, January 31, 2010

One of my babyplanners, Emma, just turned 4 months so I headed out to their home to see her. This little girl seriously has one of the sweetest faces ever! Warning: her little dimples will make your heart melt! I feel like I always say "wow, they've gotten SO big" about every baby when I haven't seen them in awhile, but Emma is such a little petite thing that she still looks so tiny! Well..tiny little legs, tiny little feet, tiny little hands, but one gigantic smile! You guys are so lucky--hold on to that little baby as long as you can! We played so much during her shots of just her, that as soon as her daddy got a hold of her for family pictures, she just crashed! Next time, she'll be so alert that I am sure we wouldn't be able to get her to sleep if we tried, so we'll take those sleepy shots this time. :) Can't wait until I see you again sweet Emma!

Sweet baby Brennan -13 days {Wylie Newborn Photographer}

>> Saturday, October 10, 2009

You may be noticing a trend here with the past several posts, and I'm not done yet! 1more coming soon! I had the best week 2 weeks ago-I got to photograph 4 newborns just days apart. Each was so sweet, SO beautiful, so perfect. I was in heaven! I have started feeling the baby itch recently, but I am just so busy right now with getting my business off the ground, continuously teaching myself, trying to adjust to my somewhat new, crazy life of having 2 full time jobs as a mom/photographer/and attempting to fit "wife" in there somehow, that I just can't imagine adding one more thing to my life right now. That means that no baby for me right now, unless God has other plans so I love that I have gotten to play and cuddle with other new parents' babies! I just instantly fell in love with Brennan and his parents-they were fun, easy going, and just made me feel at home and comfortable from the second I got to their home, and Brennan is just such a beautiful baby! You can call boys beautiful as newborns, right? Well, he was. He is like angelic beautiful. His skin is so soft and creamy, and those eyelashes-need I say more? And he was so happy and sleepy--just like we like em! I even got a little smile out of him! Couldn't you love on this kid all day?! Oh, and the best part is that he is another babyplanner! I am going to get to love on this sweet thing lots and lots this year and I can just already tell he's going to be a great little model for me! Enjoy your sneak peek guys! More are on the way soon! I have officially kicked my family out of the house for the whole weekend to get all my work done for you anxious parents! I know it is hard to wait for your baby's first pictures. Thank you so much for being patient with me!

Here's my smile that I am always hoping to capture!
And those long, beautiful eyelashes...

5 Days Young {Frisco Newborn Photographer}

>> Tuesday, October 6, 2009

I am super excited for you to meet Emma, my brand new (at the time) 5 day old BABYPLANNER! What's a babyplanner? It's a new baby that I get to follow through their first year as I photograph them at all their major milestones--newborn, 3 mo, 6 mo, and 1 year. Of course, you don't have to do it at those months...you can switch out a nine month instead of a 3 month or even do a 7 month instead of a 6. The point is that you get 4 sessions throughout the first year to document all the most perfect, beautiful, and precious stages of your brand new baby from newborn to sitting up, to possibly walking, and everything in between! You also get lots of goodies that go along with it including a free 8x10 from each session, a storyboard at the end of your memorable year, and 20% off all gift prints (8x10 and under) from each session! Whew, that's a lot of stuff! Now that's what you have to get excited about...I get excited because I am such a "relationship" type person that I bond, in some way or another, with everyone I meet. I personally think that when we meet, we are going to become the best of friends and hang out all the time. I realize that is unrealistic, but I am a "connection former" and I tend to find something I love in everyone. With the babyplanners, I get to see them regularly throughout the year and form relationships with each of them, which I am super pumped about! I can't even wait to see little Emma grow up this year and see her change from this teeny-tiny 5 day old ball of preciousness to moving on up to toddler-hood. I can just see right now the expression on Rebecca and Scott...I know-scary, right?! The old saying is unfortunately correct that they do grow up SO fast-like faster than you can practically blink, and I know you are going to love having all these stages documented. I just wish that I had done this for my little princess! So here's a couple from our newborn session, but get ready to see lots of this sweet face over the year. You won't be able to forget her beautiful face or all her hair--hopefully she'll keep that gorgeous full hair and have hair like her Momma! :)

An excuse to post

>> Tuesday, September 22, 2009

I had a couple of things "business-wise" to say tonight, but really I think I just had to get these 2 images out there! First off business...if you happen to go to my website in the next few days you might think I have not gotten enough sleep or something with my new color scheme and changes! Actually, I am fine, I just am in the process of "redecorating" my website. I have the most fantastic graphic designer, which I will post about when I get things up and running, who has given me a new look with my logo and colors. These are the last days for the black and aqua, and as much as I love all the designs I did myself for my website starting out, I am IN LOVE with my new stuff! So...if you are new around here, don't think I am style-challenged; I do know that things are not coordinating over on the website, but just wait a few days!

The second thing is that my busy season has officially began! I have 4 newborns this week...YAY, and some families too! I think I have more sessions going on in the next 6 weeks that I may have had all year, but that's a good thing--no, a GREAT thing! This is all to say that I am still going to post sneak-peeks on the blog for everyone, but they are going to be a little shorter this Fall season. You will still get all your proofs, but just to keep up with things and not get behind, I am going to post shorter sneak-peeks. In fact....

Here's what I have been doing the last 2 days~ (for the record, these are NOT sneak peeks, just can't leave a post without a picture! Sneak peeks will be short, but not 1 image short!)

I photographed a gorgeous family of 5...

And today I got to meet one of my babyplanners for the first time! Mom and Dad were exhausted by the end of her session (as they should be), so I thought I would hopefully refresh them with a super sweet picture of their brand new, 5 day old, baby girl!

To both families-your endurance paid off! I can't wait to show you the rest!
