Another beautiful Momma-to-be...again! {Southlake Maternity Photographer}

>> Monday, March 28, 2011

This shoot was so much fun because Melissa Darst is another local photographer and friend so it was really just like hanging out and doing what we love...and playing a little dress up is even fun for mommies too! Melissa is pregnant with her 3rd little one and everyone is so excited to meet "Baby Centipede"! How cute is that?! :)

Thank you Melissa for letting me take these images for you. I know it's hard being on the "other end"!

And this fun little number can be found at Bella Sorella Couture's etsy shop.

All I want for Christmas...{Rockwall Maternity Photographer}

>> Wednesday, November 18, 2009

All this growing family wants is a precious, healthy baby girl to be named Presley-due 2 days before Christmas! What more could you ask for? I can't even wait to meet her. We are already scheduled to do her newborn photos and I just got a peek tonight of her nursery--SO cute!

So back to her Momma's maternity photos...again, be prepared for a super giddy photographer to show up when you choose an urban location. It's my favorite..I just love finding new spots that are out-of-the-ordinary, love the colors you can find, love the uniqueness you end up with, love that it just veers off the track a little bit! This session was no exception. In fact, it surpassed all my expectations leading up to it. Awesome location, Awesome parents, Awesome clothing choices...AGAIN, and just so fun to shoot. I knew I would love Ashlie when I first got her email requesting a session just by the way her name is spelled. Don't you have to be a cool girl when your name is spelled just a little bit funky? So then she says "urban could be cool"...4 words I love to hear. Then they both show up ready to have fun-no beatdown for this couple...this was really fun! Soon to be Dad is also very cool. He's a graphic designer for video games~REALLY? Is there a cooler job? Yes, mine!!
So even though I thought they were amazing just from our short day together, I then find out that we all went to college together and Brandon is one of a friend/frat brother of the husband in the post below (my bf's), AND Ashlie and I were sorority sisters--at the same time (well, for 1 semester). Judging by the lack of wrinkles on her face, she had to be younger than me! :) So anyway, we were destined to connect in someway and I'm so glad we did. I am so looking forward to meeting your little girl in a few weeks! Thank you so much for choosing me to document this special time in your lives!

Love the boots here Ashlie...*wink, wink*

These next two don't even show the little baby bump we came her to capture, but they capture something different. Something equally as special. The connection between this couple is breathtaking. It truly is. These next images capture what it takes to be great parents--A great love for each other.

Ooozing with L*O*V*E {Plano Maternity Photographer}

>> Thursday, September 10, 2009

I recently got to spend the afternoon with 2 of the most fun girls in TX! I know I've said it before in Grace's post earlier this summer, but really, we have so much fun together and it's all because A) Grace is probably the one of the coolest toddlers on the planet and keeps us all cracking up or B) Melissa and I have always had fun together--hence the reason we lived together in college or C) It was just an afternoon with the "girls", including little Logan, in Mel's tummy...and an afternoon with a gang of girls is just a ton of fun or D) Melissa and Grace are just so full of love for each other, soon to be shared with baby sister; and it just filled my heart to watch them together. I know as a mom that you really try, every minute and with every action, to treat your child with all the love that you truly feel in your heart. It doesn't always happen, but you TRY. But, when it's apparent to others-outside of your little "bubble", that you love and respect your child with your whole heart--you are doing a DANG good job as a mom. Case in point--Melissa and Grace. Melissa, you are such a blessing to your little girls! Logan is a lucky girl! And you are a lucky momma to have such a great family. Congratulations my sweet friend! XOXO~Kelly

I literally laughed so hard during this session that some of my pictures didn't even come out because of the camera shake! :) Here are just a few of my faves from the day, but mark my words...I will have more to post in a few days. There were just too many other super fun ones not to share!

Blessings...{DFW Maternity Photographer}

>> Wednesday, July 29, 2009

I just love maternity sessions...Mom's are glowing, and Cyndi is no exception. This sweet family has so many blessings already with having 2 year old Keira around, and now one more is on the way...in 5 days to be exact! Now I just have to wait patiently to meet him, but I am so excited to have a new little one to photograph soon! I had so much fun on this session because I know the family personally, and Keira is TOO CUTE! She is Addyson's friend and she was just full of smiles and personality--not to mention super smart...she even kind of gave me a slight complex about my parenting with all that counting, singing, and showing of with her abc's! :) I know already that she is going to make a great big sister. She is so in love with Mommy's tummy now, but let's just wait a few days though to see how in love with the brother that is in that tummy! Just kidding--she's going to be MORE in love come next week! Congratulations guys...can't wait to meet the little man!

Oh baby!

I had the honor of getting to do my first maternity session for a new friend of mine I met through my Mom's League. I am also getting to do her newborn portraits coming up VERY soon and couldn't be more excited! Roxanne is a wonderful mom already and her family was so much fun to hang out with. Ryan was such a sport (no pun intended, Ryan) to put up with 4-yes, 4 long hours of picture taking! I am sure they will start going faster as I get more under my belt, but they were so patient with me. I really appreciate it guys! (Ryan is a pro baseball player-get it?) Ok, there's my one crack at being semi-funny at 2:30am. To clear up a few things, Roxanne is 8 1/2 mo. pregnant in these pictures and yes, she is still wearing regular non-maternity jeans and no, she does not have one flaw on her from the curse of pregnancy. I know...she makes us all sick. Really Roxanne, you are gorgeous and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

And, I just HAVE to show this one again full size. I can not even put into words how sweet this is!
